The MPX100 Memo Minder Proximity Voice Memo Announcer has been designed to help the elderly and infirm in combating the increase in distraction burglary. Simply by recording a message of up to twenty seconds the unit will advise the householder of what to do before opening the door to a stranger. The unit is activated by the breaking of a unique proximity beam.
Remind the sick or elderly to take tablets or leave chain on the door before opening.
Warn people they are going in a protected area in a office building etc.
The Memo Minder is part of the Home Office's evaluated distraction burglary kit. The original prototype was the single most successful element of a 1300 home evaluation, and achieved an 80% increase in good doorstep practice. The MPX100 Memo Minder is effective and user friendly as it is used as a proven bogus caller deterrent.
The MPX100 Memo Minder is a solid-state message recorder/player, operated by battery (supplied) or AC adaptor. No tapes are required. Your message is recorded onto a high technology circuit board and then triggered by a proximity motion detector. The up to 20 second chosen message is given automatically as anyone approaches it, making it a highly useful ongoing domestic appliance.
NB: Unlike the PIR versions available, the MPX100 will only activate when the occupant is within close proximity of the unit preventing unwanted activation.
